A fortuitous meeting in the summer of 2018 actualized an idea between two artists- to engage the community in a series of art pop-ups with a focus on contemporary artists and collaborative installations. After two years of excessive fun, including a "Prince-tallation" bus dance party that resulted in community-created artworks, a night sleeping with the bats in Story Mill warehouse and more art shuffling and logistics than one could ever imagine... Echo Arts opened our gallery doors in March of 2020. As penance for having too much fun, our Grand Opening aligned with Shelter in Place for Bozeman, MT and several sleepy pandemic years spent hustling remotely and scheming for artists ensued. Luckily, we were well prepared, antsy even, to jump into projects at a moment's notice and our art advisory developed from the time spent building relationships and researching behind masks. We are thrilled to open a brand new exhibition space in Bozeman, April of 2024 and continue the spirited adventure of life, with just as much zest as ever before.
